Week of May 3-7, 2021

Hello everyone,

We will continue working on Cooking as a theme this week. We will practice for next week's assessments. 


READING & WRITING STUDENTS

4. READING: OPEN THIS FILE and look at how the recipe is presented (images/videos included). We will talk about it in class.

5. AVENUE: Access Avenue to study the section on Food Industry - Jobs

6. WRITING: Using the instructions I presented in the PowerPoint slideshow, write a simple letter to your teacher telling him about why the cuisine (food) from your home country is the best. Provide 3 reasons why in your main paragraph. Give examples of dishes you like. Take a picture of the letter and send it to your teacher.

6. SPEAKING: In preparation for your presentations next week, there will be videos in class (not on YouTube because they are private) of students presenting recipes in class. This will give you a better ideas about what you need to do and include.

If you want your teacher to check your recipe/script before you make your video, send it to your teacher this week.
