Citizenship Week: May 22 to 28, 2023

Every year, we take a week to celebrate the rights and responsibilities shared by all Canadian citizens. During Citizenship Week, Canadians across the country and around the world show their pride in their history, culture, achievements and shared citizenship.



AM Class (Reading/Writing)
    Based on what we've discussed in class, please take a look at these websites to find out about different jobs, job requirements, and salaries in different regions in Canada.

1. Do you have the skills you need to for the job you are applying for? Learn examples of hard skills and soft skills. Read the information and the examples. 👉Hard skills vs. Soft skills

2. A. What did you do back home? Find that job in the NOC and look at similar positions you can apply for, skills, and job/education requirements in Canada for this job. 👉NOC

3. Compare the wages in different areas in Canada and Ontario for the jobs you are interested in for 2A. and 2B. Which province has the highest pay? Which region in Ontario has the highest/lowest pay?    👉Wages Across Canada
