This week has been named National Truth and Reconciliation Week. This year, we will have the first ever National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Thursday, September 30th. The day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. There will be NO CLASSES (morning and afternoon) on Thursday, September 30th. WEEK 2: September 20-24, 2021

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed the last weekend of the summer.😎🌞🌻

I hope you did not have problems with the needs assessment and goal setting (the survey I asked you to complete last week). If you have not done so yet, please do. I am still waiting for students to complete that task.

Here are activities that I would like you to work on this week.

READING & WRITING STUDENTS 👇

1) Here are some grammar activities that will allow you to review various themes you should know before entering CLB 5: Review Activities

2) Please write on paper a paragraph about how you feel about online classes and about any concerns you may have. When finished, take a picture and e-mail it to me at nsotto@themcc.com. You may also send it to me as an attachment OR send it through Messenger.

3) The federal government is holding an early election. Some people have already casted their votes through advance voting days (September 10-13) or by mail. Many others will go to the polls today, September 20th. Read the news about the federal election and its results. This is something we will discuss in class this week.
